J.K.
I used to love Mary Kay until I tried Arbonne's products. I actually like Melaleuca better than them both but if it were between the two, I'd say Arbonne.
I was wanting to sell either Mary Kay or Arbonne products as a part time job. I have sold mary Kay before. But last time it ended up costing more in the long run. I heard arbonne you dont have too stock up. I have never tried arbonne before. Which is better in your option? I liked Mk but they change there products alot. I did have lots of cleints switching because of that. Have you tried both? which is better? Which is a better company?

Hi,
I have a lot of friends who sell Arbonne. They have great products for the whole family - from skin care, hair care, make up, diet, anti-aging, sun protection, vitamins, total health care. I love it all. My friends have earned wonderful trips and some have even earned a white Mercedes credit. My vote is for Arbonne.
Good luck with whatever you choose.
I don't know about Arbonne. I used to sell MK too. I was not the selling type. I do not wear make-up, and I have the occasional pimple. I am not forward with people enough to make it work for me.
Yesterday, I heard about Fruit Plus. Sounds easy enough - go to dr's offices and explain your product. Get pamphlets and so forth and wait for the money to come in. When I was told about it, the guy told me "heart disease, what do they recommend? 'exercise and eat fruits and veggies.' Weight issues, what do they recommend? 'exercise and eat fruits and veggies.'....." Fruit Plus is your fruits and veggies in capsule form. I am not a rep for them, but my eye doctor is and i was there yesterday, so it's just stuck in my brain. Dr said it's a perfect job for a SAHM.
It really depends on what you like. I have always heard great things about MK, but not so great things about Arbonne. Mostly that it is not very good quality for the price you pay. However, I do know several people that use Arbonne, so again, it is just a matter of personal preference. I used to sell BeautiControl and NuSkin. Nuskin is fabulous, but very expensive. I used BeautiControl for awhile started using other stuff and have come back to it. It is comparable to MK in price and quality. I think MK has a great reputation especially for people with sensitive skin. Good luck! Direct sales/MLM companies like these are very hard to make a steady income, but it can be done with a lot of effort!

You might consider Shaklee. They have clinically researched skincare. Clinical studies confirmed a remarkable 665% increase in skin firmness in just 28 days. All products are 100% money back guarantee. The company has over 200 products which gives you more opportunity to interest more people. The compensation plan has been revamped and is phenomenal.
You can make up to $100,000 in your first 15 months and qualify for a car after 6 months.
If you are interested let me know I can get more info to you to investigate.
Also you don't have to carry inventory. They order online or over the phone.
I used to love MK but as it has changed it has become just like everything else. They do not have the same makeup they had 20 years ago, not even 10 years ago. I stopped wearing makeup because MK kept changing their color palettes and every base was orange. I had used Suntan Beige in the Summer and Honey Beige in the winter. Suddenly I was rubbing orange goo on my face and it was so bad that I stopped wearing anything.
My aunt has done well selling MK for many years but a lot of people don't do that well and there is a start up cost. Are you a good sales person? I haven't tried Arbonne products so I can't compare.
HI,
I am an Arbonne lady and I love it. I have never had to stock up. In fact, I do it so hands off - I dont have any product other than what I use and my girlfirends just tell me what they want out of the catalogue and I order it for them at a 35% discount. It has always worked very well for me.
If you have any questions about it, please email me. I'd be happy to help you get set up!
I've never tried Arbonne, but I hated selling MK BECAUSE they switched their products so often. I would find something I liked and the next catalog it would be gone. Good luck!
I prefer Arbonne products myself. They are both good, but Arbonne seems a littler higher quality
I'm a Jafra girl myself. We have an excellent compensation package and small start up cost. You do not need to stock inventory. Our skin care products are the best available (in my opinion) and include our newest line developed in conjunction with a leading cosmetic surgeon, and reasonably priced. I've used Jafra products exclusively since 1976 and have been selling since 1994. Four of the consultants in my branch used to sell MK and switched over and never looked back. Whichever "brand" you decide to sell, make certain you try the products first. How else can you know which company you feel comfortable representing? It will also make you a better consultant. Shoot me an email if you want more information.
I have tried both products (just for personal use, not selling them) I LOVE Arbonne. MK is alright but Arbonne is fantastic it's just expensive. You might want to look into Aloette there products are also fabulous.
Mary Kay sucks to sell - to many issues. Arbonne products are nice but much harder to sell because they are so expensive. You can get great products like that at Sephora without the S/H and wait.
I like L'Bri as they are super natural and have a good price point.
I have used MK for 24 years now. I love their products. I tried Arbonne because I heard it was natural, etc. My skin could not tolerate it at all. I've actually tried it twice. The second time (a could of years after the first time), my skin started burning so bad. My entire face turned extremely red, like a chemical burn. I freaked out. I couldn't get ahold of the lady who gave me the samples, so I called Arbonne. The customer service lady was a nightmare. She basically told me it was my own fault for trying it. She had no solutions for me at all. She just copped an attitude and told me that I should know better than to try thing on my face. I do have sensitive skin, but I don't have any medical conditions or anything like that. I have fair skin. At any rate, I was furious. I put cold water on it to cool it down. Eventually, it healed, but I will never, ever use Arbonne, nor will I recommend people to use it. Had the corporate customer service person been more caring, offered some sort of solution, or anything other than her cold, rude response to me, I would have been able to accept that my skin just can't use it. Now, I think that the company is very bad, and customers are totally on their own. They will not help you, and they will just blame you if you have problems with their products. Shocking.
BTW, I have never sold either product, and never will. It just isn't my thing. I'm glad others sell it though, because I love the MK products. And, people tell me I look 15-20 years younger than I am. I'm not so sure about that, but I probably look at least 10 years younger.
I am a Shaklee gal. Love it and sell it. I think we pay better. Shoot me an email if you want me to send you some info to research.
Clinique is my product of choice.
As far as direct sales companies, no matter which one you do, there is some investment, selling, recruiting, and you don't make that much money.
Around here, direct sales reps are avoided for pushy tactics, etc
Good luck whatever you choose. It's still work.
I have sold Arbonne, and it is a very expensive product... You need to find customers who are willing to spend that type of money for a beauty system. However the products work VERY well... Once sold and committed u will have clients for a Long Lon time... But in this economy it would be a hard sell.
Just my thoughts
