we have been using the 9 pm - 9 am APS plan for a year now, i don't have any problem expect for laundry...
i do my dishwasher in the 9-9 time, but with laundry i'm not able to do that, so i jus do it during the weekend.

i'm a stay at home mom with a 14 month old baby...I'm wondering whether to keep this plan or to change it to something else...
and i guess this 9-9 plan was not too profitable for aps... cos it is not available to any of the new customers signing in,

I would like to know which is a more comfortable & and a cost effective plan to work with,

What can I do next?

Thanks a lot everyone, really appreciate it for taking your time to answer my question...

YES we are going to change our plan to 7 to noon !!

now we are thinking about the Time advantage & the combined advantage in 7 to noon plan,
Ms. PAT thank you, you do feel time adv. is better than the combined...

We are also on the 7 pm to noon plan and it works better because at least you have the morning before noon. it is going to be harder though as it heats up this summer. last summer I was pregnant and just accepted the outrageous bill for the AC as there was no way I could tolerate the heat. It is unfortunate that it is so expensive no matter how careful you try to be! But I think this plan might work better for you than the one you have now...

We had the 9-9 plan for years and I always felt like my weekends were consumed with doing laundry. Last Fall we changed to the 7 pm - Noon plan and it is sooooo much better. I can get my laundry done in the two mornings a week. I can also get a few loads done in the evening if my mornings are busy. I still wash sheets and towels on the weekends, but only for convenience. We haven't noticed an increase in our bills and with the summer approaching we have started to cool the house way down before noon, raising the thermostat at noon. So far I love this plan. Be careful the Combined Advantage plan, it seems cheaper but I was leery of it.
I hope this helps, if you have any questions, let me know.

We've been on the 7p-12p plan for almost 2 years now and love it! We've saved quite a bit of money on it as well. If you're home all day, like I am, I highly recommend it! AND you get 6 holidays all day at off-peak rates (Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fourth of July, and Thanksgiving)! I think if the holiday falls on a weekend, you get the next weekday as the holiday, but double check that.

You can call APS and have them evaluate your usage to determine which time period is most cost effective to you. They can compare your current usage with your preferred high energy usage times to determine which plan is best for you.

We were on the 9-9 but changed it to 12-7. The 9-9 was very inconvenant.I work and staying up past bedtime to do laundry got old in a hurry.or else it was 6am to get it done. I still see a good savings and it fits in our schedule better.

I myself am a SAHM and we do the plan where you dont run anything form 7am til noon, this way I am still able to do laundry and cleaning but i wait til after noon. We also have the equalizer plan where you pay the same through out the year (you basically are payng a little more in winter to cover crazy sumer costs). It adjusts year to year depending on your usuage the year prior.Talk to APS and they can help you figure out the best plan to work for you. Hope this helps.

I used the 12-7 plan. I am off during the week and work weekends. So the 9a-9p plan never worked for me. It's not quite as cheap as the 9a-9p. But it worked better with my schedule.

We found out that the 12 pm - 7pm plan was a better fit for us. I work from home and have a 4 year old. The company that services our air conditioning and heating system suggested this plan. When I went online and did the APS comparison, it confirmed that this plan was better so we changed from the 9am - 9pm plan to this one. We just changed so I don't have any data yet but you can only change once a year so I'll know if it was a good move this time next year. Good luck.
