Hi Fellow mom's,
My family is going to Disney World in April. Never being there with kids and don't know where to stay, I am looking for a 3 bedroom condo, suite or villa resort. Recommendations? Thanks

We were just there in November and stayed in the Windsor HIlls community in Kissimee. Came highly recommended by many neighborhood friends. We had a two-story, three bedroom, three bath townhome with it's own splash pool. It was five minutes from everthing. Truly awesome experience! The gated community also has villas and condos for rent as well tons of community ammenities. You can find listings for the community on vrbo.com.
good luck!

We would always stay at the Old Key West resort on property. They are like little condos with a full kitchen so you can even go to a local grocery store and stock up on simple things. I'm sure they have a 3 bedroom, but the last time we went, we had a 2 bedroom. A king 'master' - 2 double or queens in the second bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper. I think they also had washers and dryers in the room too so you could pack a little lighter a do a load of clothes mid week or whatever.

Off property, look into the Marriott Grand Vista resort. Close to everything and very nice accomendations.

We've stayed there twice and when we go again we plan on staying there. Clean, new, close to everything, huge rooms, free continental breakfast and the rates are really cheap (I just looked and looks like a two bedroom in April is $148 a night). Not sure if they have 3 bedrooms but it would be well worth looking into.

Disney has quite a few options for large families to stay on property. It makes it somewhat easier on you as you don't have drive in everyday, you can use the bus system or drive to the park you are going to that day the parking is free when you are staying at a resort hotel. Please let me know if you have any Disney questions, I also have a spreadsheet I would be happy to share with you if you would like it.

If you want to stay on property in a villa, the Contemporary is great! You may not be able to get in so "last minute" (as this is the newest villa resort), but if you can, it is well worth it. It is SO nice, and if you can swing it, you can even have a view of the Magic Kingdom and see the fireworks at night! If you can't get in there, my other three suggestions would be the Beach Club, Boardwalk, or Wilderness Lodge. I have yet to stay at any of their villas, but the hotel is amazing, so my assumption is that the villa isn't bad either. I hope this helps, and if you have any other Disney questions, feel free to PM me!

When I went to Disney World my family stayed at the Orange Lake resorts, huge property, they have tons of pools and their own waterpark, free shuttle to get around the property. There was 2 bedrooms, 3 beds (1 King and 2 queens) and a pull out bed in the living room so 8 could sleep there. We bought food from the grocery store and cooked in the kitchen--nice granite countertops, dining room table, etc.

We have always rented a house in Formosa Gardens which is in Kissimmee. They have anywhere from 3 - 6 bedroom homes. They all come with pools and only 3 miles from the parks. VERY convenient. Right by grocery stores etc. Just look up Formosa Gardens and you should be able to see the homes. Have done it 3 times and never had a problem.

Have you tried DW website? They offer a lot of options at reasonable prices on their property.
