My boys love to play pranks on their dad on April Fools Day. Any ideas? They're 3 & 5 year old boys.

Does he drink coffee? We're planning on putting salt in the sugar bowl.
How about some little plastic bugs in the ice cubes. Or put them in his lunch. Or Jello. These things the boys could actually help you make.
Great ideas! I do like the saran wrap over the doorway! maybe some bubble wrap next to his side of the bed! or under his seat cover in his vehicle! haha! good luck!
Pull apart some oreos and scrape the icing off. Replace it with some white toothpaste.
I saw in the Parents magazine where you freeze milk or juice overnight in a cup about a third of the way. In the morning fill the glass the rest of the way with milk or juice.
My sons have played the rubberband around the spray fawcet on the kitchen sink a couple of different years. When water is turned on you get a face full of water-just make sure receipient has a good humor!!
I also just saw celophane in the doorway-that was pretty funny and harmless!!
Saran wrap over the toilet bowl
bake blueberry muffins, place some of the batter in the muffin tin, then place a cotton ball then top with some more batter and bake.
We used to glue quarter to the ground. Do it next to his car door.
We used to put a piece of masking tape over the opening of the faucet. When my dad would turn it on in the morning, he would get sprayed! I would let them do something that is simple, funny yet not mean, and easy for you or your hubby to clean up or recover from. I know if I put salt in the sugar bowl, my husband would be pissed! I agree that the Family Fun website has some great ideas--they also have some really cute food ideas as tricks (but you can still eat them-they're not ruined--things like it looks like you're eating a cookie, but it's really a dinner food, etc.) Good luck, have fun!
How about make them cupcakes BUT instead of cake mix make aa meatloaf in the cupcake trays & for frosting use mashed potatoe w/ food coloring!
My mother in law once baked cupcakes for her husband to take to work. She iced them with some sort of White toothpaste. Pepsodent I believe. Most everyone found great humor in the gag, and one person even thought that the icing was good and minty!
