Apple Orchard/Cider Mill

There are two that we love. Erwin's apple orchard in South Lyon at the corner of Silver Lake and Pontiac Trail and the other one is Spicer's on Clyde Road just off of US-23 and is awesome, we go there ever year. Have fun!!!

The best Orchard and Cider Mill with a very nice variety of U-Pick fruits is Spicers, at Clyde Rd. just east of US 23 in Hartland. I was just there last weekend, picked blueberries. The raspberries are coming in too, along with a few other fresh summer fruits. The summer apples are still available both on the tree and in store. I recommend the Ginger Gold for snacking. Spicers has a nice web site so you can get more info.

Spicers on Clyde road off of Us 23 is a terrific orchard and pretty close to Howell. :-)

I'd try Spicer's or the one in South Lyon (can't remember the name of it but it is a GREAT one...name starts with "E") It's right off 96, about a mile or so. Very convenient.

I know that Erwins cider mill in south lyon is wonderful. they have apple picking. They also have little area where kids can play. I beleive it would be about a 25-30 min drive depending on where you are in howell. ok hope this helps!

I too, live in Howell. My kids have always taken their field trips to Spicer's Orchards. They are on Clyde Road (about 3 miles N of M-59) and about 1/4 mile E of US-23. They have a very small petting farm and an area for the kids to play as well. They have a store to purchase donuts and cider too. Hope this helps!

There is Spicers Cider Mill in Hartland not far from Howell. It is off Hwy 23 on Clyde Rd. It has a fun area for the kids and some baby animials (calves, pigs, ducks, goats etc).
You can take a hayride out and pick your own apples. They have a nice country store you can go inside and sit down and have cider and donuts.
Also Erwins Orchards and Cider Mill is fun too. It too offers the same......kids activities and play area, hayride,
pick your own apples, a place to sit and have cider and donuts. Erwins in located on Silver Lake Rd. In South Lyon.
This is not far at all from Howell.
You will a nice time at either one. I just love fall for the Cider Mills. We always hit both of these places each year.

my family has always enjoyed spicers in hartland. they have lots of activities for kids, and they have great food too. they get really really crowded on weekends though.

I have taken my daughter to Erwin's Orchard in S. lyon. We had such a good time, and will be heading back repeatedly!! They have great activities for the kids and the apples are delicious and easy to reach pick. They also do a great light display in the winter... I highly recommend it!!

Well here in South Lyon, not that far from Howell really, we have Erwin Orchards. You often see school buses from all over come here to pick. It's a fun place too.

East on I-96, Kent Lake Rd. exit (South Lyon), go south to Silver Lake Rd., turn left and you can't miss it. It's on the right side, there will be a CVS up ahead at the corner. But Erwin still does apple picking for the community.

Erwin has won best cider for many years. They have petting farm, wagon rides to upick apples and pumpkins, corn maze and great donuts. They are located in South Lyon.
