Apple Creek in Allen

We've recently moved to North Plano and I'm looking for a new daycare/preschool for my almost-three-year-old daughter. The location of Apple Creek on Alma would be perfect for us-- close to home and work, and I've seen positive reviews online. Does anyone have any firsthand experience with this school?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks so much for your input! Since Apple Creek in Allen only offers a full-time daycare for four year olds, we are still on the lookout for another option. We toured the Primrose Forest Creek school, and it seems lovely. It wasn't nearly as expensive as I'd thought that it would be. I think we will also try to tour the Primrose Allen location at McDermott and Alma. I'm also curious about the Collin Creek Community Church program (The Ark, I think?) I'm really kicking myself for not getting my daughter into the Plano ISD employee childcare center when we'd had the opportunity last year! (It's TOTALLY full now!) Thanks again for your thoughts!

I taught at Apple Creek in the 2 year old room before my children were born. I can highly recommend the school to anyone. I have taught at many other preschools and this is by far one of the best I have been in. The only downfall is if you need or want more hours. They are restrictive. Another great center is Kids Kove at Harbor Point Chruch in Plano. But the some of the same issues happen there as they are only open Monday - Thursday. Hope this helps. Also my kids love to go to the SS Noah next to Stacy Furniture in Allen, It is a drop off center and they love it. It might work in a pinch.

My daughter attends there and it is a great school. The only downside is the hours, as it is only a 2hour 40 min program in the morning or afternoon. The teachers are great. We have attended there for the 3's and 4 's and my daughter will be in Pre-K in the fall. The learn a lot and she was reading at 3 1/2 years old, real books. I have been happy with the school so far.

I do not have first hand experience, however, many of my neighbors love that school.

The family next door to me have 3 girls and the youngest will start there this fall. The other 2 went through the program and are now in K and 2nd grades.

The family next to them have twin girls that will be going for the 2nd year.
