Anyone Tried Slimquick

I want to try slim-quick. My doctor says stay away from it b/c they don't know if they really work. I contacted Slim-quick and they told me ask my doctor. So just wondering if any of you ladies have tried it and had any success or not?

When you are hungry and want to eat I say eat. Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables and less of the meats and starches. I have yet to see an overweight vegetarian.

I know this wasn't necessarily what you were looking for but why deprive yourself if you don't have to besides the body can process fruits and vegetables quickly.

The only thing that works is real healthy eating and real resistance and cardio work. Best wishes. Stay away from gimmicks. You are worth more then that.

I tried it for a few days, taking just one pill early in the morning. But I couldn't sleep at night, some 12+ hours after I had taken one pill, so I stopped. I didn't like the jitters it gave me & I wasn't even taking the full dose. I've had better experiences with Metabolife...

nothing is going to make you "slim quick"...cut your carbs, keep your calories to 1200 a day, really watch your fat intake. Do at least 30 minutes of cardio a day...tae bo kickboxing really works well for me! go to www.livestrong.com and sign up, you can track your exercise and daily plate (food intake) to count your calories. it really worked for me. the over the counter pills DONT work, ive tried mostly everything. yes you may drop a few lbs. right off the bat but the second you start eating normal or stop taking the pills the weight comes right back on.

The only effective weight loss is curbing your portions and some exercise my theory is if all the other stuff worked somebody would be VERY RICH and of course there'd be no obese people left, lol.. Now, as to it's dangers that's another story, who knows Slim Fast has been around for ages and it's still sold by people still TRYING to lose weight.

They are both telling you to listen to your doctor...so, LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTOR!

These things are not regulated by the FDA and can be very dangerous. Even pills that are regualted by the FDA have killed people (remember Fen-phen). If he/she says no, then there's a reason.
