Laguna Hills is great, schools are great, and they have lived there since my granddaughter was 21 months.
Hi All,
My husband and I are on the hunt for a new house and we found a place we really like in Laguna Hills. However, does anyone know how favorable the area is for a family with young children (under 2 years)? Also, since we plan on living in this new house for several years, how are the schools in the area? We have heard that Irvine has some of the best but haven't heard much about the Laguna area.
Thanks so much for your help!
Thanks all for the advice!

Laguna Hills, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel are all good areas. There are lots of parks around all these communities for young children and toddlers. I have lived here for 10 yrs with my family, kids are 6 &8.
Laguna Hills is a wonderful area. The schools are part of Saddleback Valley Unified School District and they are great. We've lived in the area for the past 20 years. Love it. Lake Forest is also a wonderful city and ranked 10th safest city in the nation. Lake Forest is also part of SVUSD and has some exceptional schools as well.
You live close to a great pediatric practice, the Sears clinic. And very near a wonderful birth and women's health center, beach cities midwifery! Enjoy it, I wish we could live there... not that I mind where we live currently in the least (Seal Beach).
