T.S.
We didn't live in the snow but took our Sienna into the mountains several time for ski season.
Sometimes had to use chains (like many other cars) but it was fine.
wondering how this car functions in the snow (not the AWD version)? Thank you

My daughter has one and lives in the middle of nowhere. Snow tires on it in the winter and it does just fine.
Our's is fine in the winter but only after we put snow tires on it. The first winter I drove it without snow tires it could barely make it up any steep hill that was snow covered.
I had one of these for a few years - not the AWD version - and I live in MN. I found that it handled well, but also put snow tires on it in the winter time, which really does help.
Good luck!
Just finished our first winter with ours. I live in WI. We didn't have our usual super snowy winter so it handled pretty well. It's not as wonderful as our old Tahoe. I just drove a little slower and took my time. The ABS kicked in a couple times and worked well. I have heard snow tires make a big difference. I just don't have a great place to store them and don't want to spend the money. Looking forward to the answers.
I have a 2008 sienna and live where it snows. It's really awful in the snow. I slide all over the place.
I have a Sienna and drive in the snow in Minnesota. I think it handles fine in the snow if you slow down and drive to match the conditions. We have never put snow tires or chains on ours. Not good on ice, but then no car is.
