I would like to do the walk. I would just need more information on the walk as to where & when.
I was wondering if anyone else is going to be doing the Arizona 3day Breast Cancer walk...
I live in Phoenix and was wondering if anyone was going to be training for it and wanted to walk together
Thanks so much!!

What part of town do you live in? It would be awesome to do this. Much training needed, of course. I walk 2 miles when I go to the gym... easy, just multiply that by 30, right? Haha. My sister did the 2 day version of this walk in San Francisco a couple years ago, and it was an amazing experience for her.
Anyway, I'm in the West valley (Glendale/Peoria line). Let me know if you're near me, or if you'd be interested in getting together on weekends to train. shanan187 at cox dot net.

Good Morning D. - I commend you on making the decision to do the 3 day... I did it two years ago and it is definately a life altering experience. I've been thinking about doing it again except I think I'm going to wait one more year. The reason why I'm responding to you is that I have a wonderful fundraising opportunity for you. I am an independent jewelry consultant for Cookie Lee Fine Fashion Jewelry. don't want to go into too much detail but let me say it is a really easy way to earn hundreds of dollars towards your participation requirement. With very little or no work at all, I basically do all the footwork for you.
When your ready let me know and I can go over it with you.

I did the 3-day in 2006 and continue to be a part of a great team...Ladies in the Pink. They are a great group of people. They train regularly and are always looking for new members to the team. Most of the training is in the Papago Park/Tempe Town Lake area, so if that is a good location for you, give them a shout on the 3-day web site. I'm not walking this year...had a knee replacement in Jan., but I will either crew or cheer. If all keeps going well with my therapy, I might even do some training walks. Thanks for walking and your dedication to the fight against breast cancer.
