Childrens House was a great place. My son has a sensory disorder and problems with his speech. My only concern was that I'm self employed and my insurance is not very good so I was paying out of pocket $100 3 x a week for a 30 minute visit.
Have you bought any of the books dealing with sensory disorder? They really help. There is a lot you can do at home to help with the sensory disorder. We moved to two story house that had a pool and you wouldn't believe what 3 months of everyday in the pool has done for my son. He went from never wanting to get wet to now he tells me his is ready for summer so he can swim. The stairs in our house have helped him gain control with walking on different levels. The first 5 months we lived there he would sit on his butt all the way down the stairs. Now he walks down and does't even hold the rail.
Also have you contacted the school district in which you live? They do sometimes take kids that are younger with certain diagnosis.
Good luck!
