Hi D.-
I have had to shed a few pounds here and there over the last couple of years (I am fairly fit as well but needed to drop a bit) and I've used Weight Watchers to do it. I did not attend the meetings (although I hear they are very good), but used the online version which is amazing! I think it's $15/mo. to be a member. I can't say enough great things about it if you have a few minutes a day to keep track of your food and exercise the online version.
Good luck & congrats!
D.
It's not a diet per se, it's a new way of accounting for your food intake and being responsible for your health. They don't make you eliminate important foods like some diets and they allow you to have great snacks or splurge when you feel like it. I've used a ton of their recipes which I got from the website as a member and almost all were very good.
I haven't tried WW for nursing moms but most likely will in 3 1/2 mos. when I have my baby. I would say overall it's one of the best ways to lose weight out there.
