S.S.
Ahhh peer pressure strikes so young as one strives to be at home in a community!
My son used to beg for lunchables too.
Its a small portion of food. Watch what beverages are included in any you buy (I dont even know if they still come with beverages), if you have an restrictions of sugar/color additives.
I abhored buying those things. I couldnt recycle the packaging either, by the way. He was allowed one, every month or so.
If he's the kind to be diplomatic,
explain, perhaps, that maybe the other parents
are not able to make their kids meals,
like his mom can. Everyone is not so fortunate as a boy
who has a HOMEMADE lunch. (this worked with daughter, but not with son)
Perhaps it could be a "treat" lunch for special occasions.
His appetite will probably outgrow his desire to eat them.
good luck!
