I believe Dr English moved down there (SW)...she was our ped and we loved her.
Hello ladies. I have a question for those of you that have Kaiser insurance. We are switching to Kaiser as of May 1st, and I need to find all of us new doctors. Does anyone have a recommendation for doctors in the Denver area? We are in the southwest area, close to Swedish Medical Center, but I am willing to go downtown. Anything would help. Thanks!

Hi V.,
We go to kaiser southwest plaza location off of wadsworth, my daughter who in 3 loves dr. Copp she is awesome with kids and so far my favorite dr. for her and she responds well with dr. Copp, my husband was in military and we moved a lot and we have seen our fair share of dr's but we are here for good but I'm glad to find a great dr for my daughter. Hope this helped. C.
We just switched as well and chose Dr. Copp at KP Southwest (on S. Wads). I really like her, but we've only seen her once (12 month well-baby). Our nanny uses Dr. Krawcek at SW and says he's pretty good as well.
Most of my life I went through Denver Health & Hospitals for medical care. Although, I hated to leave, as I had the same doctor for the past 20+ years, I was no longer eligible to receive care there being that we moved. Luckily at my job, I was able to get insurance through Kaiser. This went into effect in February of this year. It's been a very short time that I've been with Kaiser, but I am totally impressed! The initial call I made to the main number, covered so much! I am diabetic....so I was able to talk to the pharmacist to set up medication refills. I was given a choice between 2 doctors. I chose doctor, Rebecca Agnew. I live near the Hidden Lake office on at 7701 Sheridan Blvd. I had an appointment with Dr. Agnew in late February. Every staff member I had contact with, was very nice and I felt very comfortable with all of them. Dr. Agnew gave me the feeling that she really cares and can relate to me. I didn't feel like I was being rushed through my appointment. In fact it was quite the opposite. She discussed my lab test results with me to my understanding. Even explaining what the "numbers" meant, where I was at with my numbers and where I should be. This was something my old doctor never had time to discuss with me in detail. I was surprised soon after my appointment, with a letter containing a brief history on Dr. Agnew, such as her schooling, years of practice, specialty, etc...
A couple of weeks after that appointment, I also had an appointment with the optometrist. He too, was very helpful and kind. Though my experience with Kasier has been very limited, I am IMPRESSED!!! I have the upmost confidence in their team. Good Luck to you and I'm sure you're in good hands with the Kaiser team!
We use Dr. Krawcek for our pediatrician... (southwest kaiser) and have been really happy with him... though recently we have seen dr. copp on a couple of occassions when dr. krawcek was not available and really liked her. plus adam, the peds nurse who checks you in and takes your kids vitals is really great... unfortunately he has had to give my daughter shots so she isn't overly fond of him at the moment... but he is always patient and gentle.
I see dr. mccran at sw for ob/gyn, he is a fine doctor... I really love my primary care physician, but she is out of the lakewood facility. her name is stacey mason... she is great, I consider it worth the drive to see her.
