I had a tubal reversal in 1999. I had my tubes tied in 1990 after my son was born. My reversal went great. I have, however, suffered through multiple miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy since having my reversal. I still have no baby. Mine cost $8500 total, but there are many docs who charge much less. IMHO, the reversal can be a better option than IVF since IVF costs at least $10-$15,000 depending on medication and monitoring costs and how much your insurance will pay(if any). And, a reversal gives you the chance to try naturally EVERY month instead of just one shot with IVF and possibly one more with a FET if enough eggs were retrieved. I know plenty of women who have gotten PG after TR and had babies. Most within 6 months of surgery and lots within the first couple of months after surgery.
My choice of doctor was Dr. Gary Berger in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He is a wonderful doctor and microsurgeon. He specializes in TR and does them every day. Google his name and you will find him. His prices have come down since I had mine done. Lots of luck!!
