I was wondering if any moms make there own diapers for their babies. I'm just starting out on making my diapers and have questions on what are the best fabrics to use, and what works best. I have been doing research for about a month now, but to actually discuss with another mom ideas and what works would be great. Thanks in advance.

sorry, but you DO NOT need a washer/dryer to do cloth diaps... the best thing is to handwash, and line dry!

A lot of mommas on there do make their own, they are very friendly, so I bet they will be more then happy to tell you all you need!
I *try* to, but as a WOHM of a very busy toddler, don't have much time for any sewing.
My favorite resource is diapershop.com - owned by a cloth-diapering mom - there's an FAQ section with links to more resources and lots of info. She also runs a forum of tutorials and pattern adjusting (customizing?) that I've LOVED reading through (sewdiapers.com).
**With these resources, the owner (nice gal named Jessica) and her husband work out of their home, do all the website stuff & shipping themselves. She is extremely unbiased and promotes competing businesses as well as her own in these resources, just to make sure the people she's helping have all the information they need.

I did cloth diapers and am working on doing it with my third but we are living without a dryer and you need a good washer and dryer to do diapers.
Do want to make all in one diapers or do you want to just make chinese style diapers? Sorry I have been doing this for so many years I need more info!
