I am wondering if anyone out there has a playgroup for myself and my 16 month old little girl.
Meetup.com has a few groups (bay area tiny tots is a good one!)
If you are in the warm springs area, we could plan a few playdates. I have a 19 month old little boy.
Hello B.. I do not know of any playgroups,but I live in Newark.I am a 33 yr old mom of 4. 3 teens and a toddler.
My youngest daughter will be 3 July 1st.
I work nighs,but me and the baby are home during the day when the hubby is at work and the others are at school.

I am part of the East Bay Playgroup. You can find us on Meetup.com. We are free to join at this time. The organizer's name is Dennell. We have planned activities 2-3 times a week, from parks, to get-togethers at someone's house, etc (even a montly MNO!) Do a search for the East Bay Playgroup...there are other local playgroups on there also. Some have joining fees, others don't.
I would recommend joining the FUN (Fremont, Union City, Newark) Mothers' Club. Their website is at www.funmothersclub.org. I joined them primarily for finding a playgroup for my 3 yr old son and they've been a great resource since then.
