Long story short my husband was laid off about three months ago...he did find new employment- the pay will not be good for a couple more years...union job. Anyhow...I have not been able to find any work full time, my current part time job is not panning out as I had hoped initially. I am actually lossing money on day care, and we are not in a posistion where we can cut back anymore than we alreasy have. The money is running out quickly, and I am so frustrated at having pounded the pavement with no results. I love kids, but my association is very strict about running things like a daycare from your home. Any and all ideas would be greatly appreaciated.

What can I do next?

Would you like another part-time job? We're hiring dog walkers/pet sitters. If you have experience with dogs... give me a call and we'll see if we can work something out.

We're hiring for Bolingbrook walkers in the afternoons m-f. (maybe 2.5 hours each day... around 1pm.) it's a few hundred a week then. ($10.00 per hour, plus mileage)

A.! hi, i'm H.!
i organize a women's meetup group,
anyway, i see you're a stylist, would you be able to do an "in home" beauty parlor type thing? i can refer you to my women's group, and possibly plan a "salon day" for the gals. also, feel free to join our group, and let every one know you're a stylist!! we only have one other stylist and she's way out in chicago so it would be nice to have someone out here!

i also do candle and jewelry parties... if that's something you want more info on let me know and i'll get you in contact with who to talk to... you can do it PT or FT. or you can just HAVE a party, too for some extra cash, you can pick free gifts or a cash donation if you have a party.... you usually get $100 -$200- per party....let me know..

also, almost forgot, i organize a non profit group too, and we do a lot of fundraisers/ fundraising shows, we always need help booking fundraisers, its all phone/email/internet work, if you'd be interested in that let me know... we also always need help collecting orders for our fundraisers, and thats something you can do with the kids, too...

good luck!
H.!

I have been selling lia sophia jewelry since June of 2006. I make my own schedule which is the most important thing to me because I have a 3 year old son. I do it mostly on weekends because my husband can be home with my son. I try and do them between 1-4. Each show takes 2-3 hours and I average $200-$300 per show! Here is my website www.liasophia.com/jackiehugelier feel free to check it out. All my inventory is mine and I am a walking billboard for my own business. I don't have to make deliveries and I control where I go on the map. I love it and am sooo glad I started. I also live in Oswego so if you would like we can meet or I can throw some information in the mail for you. When I went to my girlfriends jewelry party I thought there is no way that I could do that! But it is so easy! The jewelry pretty much sells itself. If your interested in checking out my stuff please let me know- I would be happy to share all that I can- I hope this helps!

Hi A.,
I thought I replied to this message but I'm not sure. Have you found anything yet? If not, I do have a solid business venture I'd like to share with you. There's no selling, inventory, distribution, no financial risk and no MLM. As a matter of fact, this month's promo is great. Any customer who refers 8 or more customers this month, and those customers remain customers for 90 days, the person who did the referrals will receive a 26" flat panel tv on top of other bonues and commissions. The company has consistely grown over the past 22 years with $783 million in annual sales. The operate only off of word of mouth referrals. They share their revenue with the customers as well as provide natural and quality ingredients in all of their products instead of putting money into advertising and distribution.

Call me if you'd like to know more.

M.
