Hi! I am looking for recommendations for a new OBGYN that is affiliated with St Joe's Women's Hospital. I think I have narrowed it down to the Women's Group or Carrollwood obgyn because they are close to where I live and work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

A co-worker liked Carrollwood and recommended them, but my personal experience with them was very unfavorable. They were impersonal, unprofessional, and I had to wait over an hour a couple of times. When I experienced a complication that required hospitalization, they extremely disappointed me as far as their level of caring and concern. I switched practices during my 6th month of pregnancy, and was glad I did!

Insignia Care for Women, they have delivered a baby for me and also they have done 4 female surgeries on me. They have a couple different offices. Doctor Newton, Wilkerson, Greenburg are the three I have been seen by for the past 16 years.
Good Luck!

I used the Women's Group for both of my pregnancies. Sometimes the wait was a little long, but the service was impeccable. Dr. Wahba is my favorite, but all of the doctors there are good. Dr. Roush delivered my first, and Dr. Nirgudkar delivered my second. I had a miscarriage in between, and the office staff was very caring and compassionate. The doctor came in and spoke to me after the ultrasound confirming no heartbeat, and really made me feel like she cared. (I've heard from other women that their doctor made them feel like miscarriages were routine; get over it, happens every day). Every time I called the office when I started bleeding, someone always spoke to me or called me right back, and they scheduled me for an ultrasound right away. I used the BBD office, although I did go to the MLK office for a last minute ultrasound. The Women's Group doctors, staff, nurses, everyone gets an A+++++ from me.

I go to the Women's Group right there off Bruce B Downs. I am not sure if this is the facility you are referring to or it you are referring to the one by St. Joe's hospital. I love the Women's Group out off BBD - Dr. Waba is my favorite, but like them all. I only went to the MLK office once, but didn't have any issues with any of the staff that one time. I know that they deliver at both UCH and St. Joe's.
