Hi my son has to go to a ENT in a couple of weeks. I was wondering if anyone has used Dr. John Fewins in Fort Worth?

What can I do next?

I don't have experience with Dr. Fewins uless you count that I went in for an interview with him to be his transcriptionist. I have no idea about him as a physician, but as an intereviewer and potential client I did not care for him. He was rushed and fast and did not want to pay much at all. His wife was the office manager and they were trying to run things as cheaply as they could. I don't blame you on doing that when you are starting out and if I remeber correctly he had only been out of school for like 4-5 years.

I do recommend Dr. James Leffingwell. He is in Arlington on Waldrop near Arlington Memorial Hospital. He did my daughters adnoidectomy and will take time with the you and explain things and is really what I consider to be honest.

While I don't have a lot of information on Dr. Fewins, I would like to recomend an ENT to you. Dr. Monty Trimble. He has two offices. Once in SW Fort Worth and one downtown in the Texas Oncology PA building off or 12th Ave. ###-###-####. He is younger and really knows how to work with kids. My son was totally at ease. From a parent's perspective he is clear, tells you what you need to know and anything he recomends (proceedures, follow up, time to wait etc) he'll tell you why! Good luck.

We went once and had a good visit. He is one of the best in North Texas and really hard to get into. Good Luck!

I just took my daughter (11 mo.) to see him yesterday. He was fast, but very friendly. I am a nurse, so I am pretty critical of docs. I work at Cook's and my coworkers recommended him. He gave me his recommendation in terms of what he would do if it was his child. I've only had the one visit so far, but I liked him.

Yes, he is a very good doctor. I have ear infections a lot and I went to him about two years ago and I had to have both my ears cleaned out they were so infected and one of my eardrums had burst. He had me come back two times and he gave me medication and I was fine. I am now 19 years of age.
