Hi folks -
I've been searching for a part-time nanny, and am considering using the College Nannies and Tutors agency in Sherman Oaks, CA. Does anyone have any experience with this location in particular, or any of the College Nannies and Tutors locations? If so, how was it? How much does the agency charge per hour for the nannies?
BTW - I already have tried sitter city, care.com, etc., without luck. No need to suggest that I try those sites!
Thanks!

We had a WONDERFUL part time sitter several years ago who was a student at the local university. I didn't use an agency though, I just called the school and advertised in their job postings (there are ALWAYS college students looking for part time work.)
We have used the Irvine location for backup dependent care and have been really happy. I don't know the hourly rate because we contract through my husband's company for their backup service. We request this company for their consistency in providing good sitters.
Their sitters have been conistently good - on time, provide good activities for our kids. Our 3 & 7 yr old kids have been excited to have them return. I think that says a lot, especially since we only have them short term- 1-2days or a week at most. They have to establish rapport quickly, and be ready to make friends & play, etc.
My daughter's college has a resource center and local jobs are posted thru the college website. You may want to contact your local college.
