Hi - Are there any baby classes out there (Gymboree, Music, ?) that I can sign my 8 mos. old that incorporate babies AND grandparents? I haven't done any of these classes myself, so I don't know what they are like. I'd like for my mom to meet other grandparents as a social outlet and spend time w/ my son. Thanks!
Petaluma School of Music has classes for small children. My daughter went to one and loved it, but it is a bit expensive. My mom (who watches my daughter while my husband and I work) took my younger cousin there a few years back and loved it.
If you are in sonoma county near Sebastopol there are some wonderful musical mothering classes--and mom doesn't have to be the one taking him. I think the info is available through the Sebastopol Community Center. My daughter loved it at that age and I am looking into it for my youngest.

I don't know of any that are specific with grandparents. But I did take Kindermusik, on 3rd st in Santa Rosa, and often the grandparents, usually grandmothers brought the kids, sometimes on a regular basis, other times they were the fill ins. Also My Gym, off of Piner.
