What is the best product or keeping ants away? We just can't keep them out of the house. We aren't even finding them where the food is the little suckers are in the cabinets where the dishes are. They are the small sugar ants. We set out the little bait traps and sprayed. Hubby is going to the store to pick up something different any suggestions?
Thanks ladies :) he ended up buying home defense. We haven't seen any in the house in few days hopefully they stay gone.

I have Raid ant traps all over the the house, which has helped some. I also have Orkin come. I don't want ot spray anything more, since the baby is on the floor all the time.
I'll be watching this to see if anyone else has better suggestions. I feel so gross that I can't get rid of them!

I use borax as well and its worked for us. I think it really depends on your ant type too, so make sure you know what kind of ants you have. Ugh, I hate ants!

Hi Rachel, If you are referring to the tiny black ants, I have them too. I have been able to get rid of them instantly by putting cinnamon all along the edges of the shelves -- a thin line is all you need but you must put it along the 3 "edges" (where the 'wall' of the shelf meets the shelf itself). What we find the most helpful for ants is mixing sugar with Borax (laundry detergent booster-found with the laundry detergent at the store) and putting this around your foundation (outside). The ants are attracted to the sugar and then eat the borax too (and are poisoned). within an afternoon this will get the ants out of our house. you do have to repeat it about once a month but nothing works better~
Terro ant bait. I have used borax, cinnamon and many other natural remedies. They either didn't work or didn't work long term. Tetro is not a chemical base poison so if the pets get into it, it will not harm them. It is cheap and you can get it at Walmart.
