Any suggestions on how to get rid of little black ants in our home. We think they are coming out from under the floor through the sides. We clean and spray and within a day they are out again but with the warm weather coming I am concerned they will get worse. Also I have a baby who will be crawling soon and don't like that he will be all over the floor with them.
Splenda works...it is a natural ant killer. My sister in law who lives in rural Ohio used it and was amazed. She said it worked better than the nasty poison stuff you buy from the store. Makes you think twice before eating it. Good Luck.

I use vinegar for everything and found this on a website another Mama gave me when I was asking for advice on cleaning products a few months ago! It will be nice and safe for your little one when he is crawling and it is also enviromental friendly!

You would be amazed at how fast those little plastic ant bait traps work! The ants take the "food" back to the nest and within a few days they're gone. Do it now before your baby is crawling. You can buy the bait at Target , CVS, Walgrens, anywhere. It won't take more than a few days, a week at most. Cleaning and killing the ants you see won't get rid of them, they have to take the poisen back to the nest.
they can't digest cornmeal. place on floor near them and they'll just bloat up and croak! use the coarse yellow cornmeal. that stuff you spray is really bad for your lungs.
