ok so as i've said before, i'm throwing a halloween/bday party for my sons first bday! we're renting a pavilion but, i'm afriad its going to be chilly and i was thinking about hanging something on the open sides to kind of make "walls". However i can't think of a good and CHEAP way to do it. Any ideas?

What can I do next?

Painters tarp is cheap & clear. It's like $2 at Walmart. Staple it to the Pavilion & maybe throw a couple large candles on the tables to help keep it warm. Good luck!

Don't have any suggestions for you on that but I was born a couple days before halloween and this made me think of my bday parties. I remember everyone getting thier own pumpkin to carve and design to take home with them

the only thing i can think of is tarps. i know some halloween stores carry plastic wall covering that look like walls (about 5 ft tall and enough to cover a basic room) but tho cost about $15 per pack, depending on the sale going on. with the tarps, could possibly decorate them, and it wouldnt be that expensive

my husband and his friends use black plastic sheeting when putting on their haunted trail every year to make walls. it's a little pricier than i thought, but maybe you could find something comparable, cheaper. http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xr5/R-100651803/h_...

How about some painters tarps - as someone else had mentioned. Some of them are not that expensive. Also, you might see if you could find some old flat sheets either you may have or at garage sales/good will, etc. that might be another option.

Good Luck

Why don't you rent a heater? I grew up in Chicago and there were plenty of bars there that had tents over the patio and they all use patio heaters. If you do you don't want anything on he sides.

There is really heavy construction plastic that you can buy that you could staple up. You could even paint it in advance if you knew how long to make it.....It could be used as a back drop if you paint it or decorate it cheaply. Just a thought.
You can get this at any hardware store.

Try inexpensive shower curtains from the dollar store or Dollar General.
