Maybe for hubs, give him two cards from the babies. Make one "Love, baby A" and the other "Love, baby B" :-)
Congratulations!
Went to the doctor today expecting to listen to a sweet little heartbeat, and found out that I am having TWINS!!! I'm super excited, and its even more exciting because my bestie is also having twins. I'm trying to think of cute ways to announce it to everyone. I haven't even told hubby yet, because I want to do it in a special way. Any ideas? :)
Oooh, gonna combine 2 ideas to announce to hubby... He works late, so I am usually in bed by the time he gets home. Usually, I prepare a plate for him so all he has to do is microwave it when he gets home. I think I will put 2 buns in the microwave 'oven' along with the ultrasound pic.. On the back I will write 'There are TWO buns in our oven!' I'll have to figure out how to set my web-cam on motion sense so I can see his reaction later. ;)
Keep em coming... I still have the rest of my family and friends to announce to. :)

CONGRATS!!
I love the ideas so far!
Maybe tell him you're pregnant... wait for him to respond... then tell him again, you're pregnant... he'll look at you like you already said that, then tell him hey, twice the babies, twice the baby brain ;)
For hubby maybe make him a meal and have two be your theme. Give him two pieces of chicken, two pieces of bread, two separate scoops of potatoes, two ears of corn. I think you get the idea.
As for announcing, unless you are having a get together that is a tough one. Maybe get a shirt and on the belly have it say "Thing 1 & Thing 2" look at Cafepress.com they have a ton of cool shirts
When we just got my family together to announce the gender of our baby, we made those new Fundamiddle cupcakes. I used the ones with the white middle stuff, and colored it pink. When everyone came, they got to bite into it and find out! My husband thought it would be fun to make 1/2 blue and 1/2 pink and then say "ha ha, we're not telling". I thought that would be a great idea to announce boy/girl twins, if you could wait that long! Also, wouldn't work out if it's 2 boys or 2 girls. Anyway, congrats and have fun!
Well when I was having twins, I came home that night, and was showing my hubby the ultrasound pictures and he was like "where are they, i can't see them" and I just kep saying, "There...and there." It took him a second, and then he was like, OMG does this mean were having twins?!? haha, it was SO funny. When my hubby called his mom, the first thing she asked was "how was the ultrasound?" and "are the babies fine?" and my hubby just said " well the u/s was great and BOTH hearts are beating just fine!" his mother was soo excited!! So that was a fun way to tell the family. Another way was to make a Valentines day card and put a sonogram picture inside and put Happy Valentines day Grandma and Grandpa from your two sweethearts. Just any idea. Good luck and congrats on the twins! :)
You could get a tshirt and write "2 buns in the oven" and see how long it takes him to notice! Lol.
And Congrats!!
I just showed people the ultrasound pic that had the babies side by side and the one that said baby "a" and baby "b"....sorry I didnt have a very exciting or inventive way of doing it, I just let them figure it out on their own. Not many did and I had to prompt them.
My sister announced it to our family by having us over for dinner, and after we ate, she said they had an announcement to make, and she invited everyone to unwrap their after-dinner mint (at everyone's place setting there was a stick of doublemint gum). Most of us it took a while to figure it out, but I thought it was very fun.
Hello,
you might use the credit card commercial as a way to tell your hubby. The one where the lady is telling him how they can save money by paying on the small things, giving you money for the big things, then she opens the door to the nursery and reveals 3 beds & he faints.
I love that commercial.
I wish I was having twins.
Best of luck to you,
C.
