I am considering getting a tablet with WIFI for my 6 year old. Does anyone have any recommendations or experiences they can share? The tablet will be for games, apps, reading, music, pictures, etc. Thanks.

What can I do next?

For my 8 and 11 year old I went with the Coby Kyros. One thing to look for when going android based is that it has "ice cream sandwich" already installed on it.

It's there Christmas present, but I have already pulled it out and played with it. Amazon has had some great prices on it and for the money it is a good little tablet.

I did some research and bought the Nabi tablet for my 2 kids. The Nabi is supposed to be the best as far as kids tablets.

I have the Kindle Fire & absolutely love it. You can rent books from the library, as long as you have a library card, and can find tons & tons of free books from Amazon. I have downloaded tons of free games for my little one too & he loves playing them.

Good luck & Merry Christmas!
