I usually read the questions/answers here! :) And then maybe catch up on a past episode of something I missed earlier in the week (or month) that I don't want my child watching.

Go shopping and actually be able to try the clothes on before buying them.

Install the curtain rod that has been sitting in my bedroom for 8 months

Finally get the chance to select coordinating pillows and curtains for the living room

Finish stripping the wallpaper off of our 3 bathrooms (I began doing it almost 4 yrs ago but got too busy with the kids to finish)

Take a bath and shave both legs at the same time from ankle to bikini area

Call a friend without having to stop to break up fights or discipline for screaming in the background

Finish taking down the Christmas lights--it was too icy to take them down until late March, but by then I was almost 40 wks pregnant and couldn't go up on the ladder...then I got too busy with 3 kids

Walk around Target.......or pee without having an audience of mini inspector's.

Take a walk.

I have SO little ME time, that I find it awkward even thinking about what I would do.

I dont mind though. They keep me busy. Which keeps me sane.

I love the "pee with no audience" answer.

For me fast forward many years, my only son is grown and on his own, but I had a little dog who followed me to the bathroom and did not like it if I had the nerve to close the door on him.

I am currently taking care of my son's cat and the cat does the same thing!

Kids and animals...go figure...but aren't they so worth it?

Blessings....

I am always lost when this happens to me but I always PLAN to:
get a pedicure
see a movie
go to dinner w/a friend
*What I usually end up doing is:
going for a walk by myself and tidying up around the house :)

Long bubble bath with a good book and then a nap afterward.
Spend too much time on mamapedia!
Go browse for purses, I am a purse-addict.
Usually I end up taking a long walk and then tidying the house since clutter makes me tired.

I would grab a cup of coffee on the way to get my toes done. After that, I would lay on my sofa and relax...no noise! :)

a huge sigh of relief is always first!

Then I either curl up with a good book (& a good drink! Sometimes, it's just a glass of iced tea!) ... or I tackle my scrapbooking ... or I grab my DH (nothing better than a really good O to recharge my system!).

Moving on....good question!
