sorry thought you were talking about something else.
Hello Ladies,
I was wondering if anyone has a Amazon Kindle, Kindle 2 or any other wireless reader. I woould like to get one, but there is so many mixed reviews I don't know what to do. Since there not cheap items, I don't want to buy one and be disappointed. Thanks for all your help.

I just saw an interview with the CEO of Amazon with Charlie Rose this week. It's still available online: http://www.charlierose.com/view/interview/8784
I was really impressed with Kindle. When I first heard of it, I wasn't interested at all because I love to read, usually several books at a time, but I hate to read online because the light is so bothersome. But, the electronic paper of kindle seems awesome.
I'll look forward to hearing more from others and what you decide to do.
My husband is reading his right now across from me in the living room, and I just finished reading a book on it over the weekend. Although it is expensive, the convenience is really great -- especially if you're like us and often have more than one book going at a time. You can easily pick it up in one hand and page forward and backward without having to use the other hand. And the screen really does read like paper. It can go about 10 days without recharging, so that's nice, too. I've read it with my 8-month old on my lap, and the only disadvantage is that she's dying to get her mouth on everything electronic we touch. So, just have to watch for the grab and drool factor. If you want to see what a reader is like, Sony also makes one that you can check out at the Sony store at Beachwood Place if you happen to be on the East side. I love it, but am not ready to buy my own yet. Content to share it with hubby -- but then again, we read at different times of day anyway.
Check your library. Mine now loans the readers and so you can try before you buy.
