Taking vitamin B helps with energy - there are many choices - B2, B6 etc... I think B2 is the best to help with energy. Wishing you well!
My problems is that nevermind if a sleep all night or not I wake up tired, I feel my legs heavy. I walk, play with the kids but I go to work tired aswell, I've got a nice diet and I begin the day with a nice breakfast. I'm thinking in to buy a fresh cream for my legs in Yves Rocher.
I feel that I haven't got energy and without strenght.
Any idea for to do? Are there someone with my same problem?
thanks.

First, I would ask you if you are taking a good multivitamin and calcuim every day. These are two things that the doctor specifically ask me.
I had FMS when I had my twin boys and I felt like that ALL the time. www.danielchapterone.com There ministry helped me get going again, especially the ENDO 24 to replace all the nutrients I had lost having the babies.
I would have your blood, hair and urine checked and have them check for EVERYTHING.
Hopefully some suppliments could get your body healthy and able to fight off whatever is causing this.
Good luck!
Same advice as everyone. See your doctor. Make him/her check your thyroid, your iron, everything. If everything comes back ok, see a sleep specialist and make sure you don't have sleep apnea, narcolepsy, or fibromyalgia (FMS). Best of luck,
C.
Hi Y.! I would call your doctor and have your thyroid checked. That can certainly make you tired. If you're eating well, you shouldn't be that tired. Call your doctor and make an appointment to get checked out. Good luck!
Have you had your iron checked? I Ask because that is the very symptom I have when my iron drops low. I can sleep for 10 hours and two hours after i wake up i'm ready to go to sleep. I currently take a daily iron supplement (65mg) that significantly reduces the problem. I've also found that exercise increases my energy as well (not saying that i exercise, but when i do i can definetly tell the difference).
Have your thyroid levels checked. (Requires blood work)
You need a complete physical so they can rule out any conditions like thyroid or diabetes. I have a thyroid condition and both conditions are very treatable. DOn't try to be the doctor yourself you may make things worse. And if it is nothing then you will know that you have more options to try out. (exercise, food, etc)
Hi,
I was like that for years, then in my 40's I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome & Fibromyalgia. You might want to talk to your MD about both.
Good luck,
D.
About 8 years ago, I would fall asleep everywhere, all day long- no matter what time I went to bed. I would almost fall asleep driving to work in the mornings. I would sleep at work, take a 2 hour nap when I got home from work...wake up for dinner, then go back to bed. I finally consulted a sleep doctor. I have a sleeping disorder that makes me extremely tired all day, not quite as extreme as narcolepsy, but close. I have to take medication to keep me awake now. I hate to rely on it, but without it, I'm a zombie. If your body is fatigued, you might consider checking in with a sleep doctor. It could be several possibilities.
As other posters recommended, have your thyroid checked. Fatigue was the only symptom I had (and I chalked that up to having 2 little ones) and found out I had hypothyroidism. I now take a low dose of synthetic thyroid hormone every day and I can't believe the difference. It has changed my life. My Dr said thyroid issues are some of the most under-diagnosed issues in women's health.
I hope you feel better soon regardless!
So funny that I should read this, since I woke up this morning completing my sleep study. Talk with your doctor about getting a study done and the results can show you what is going on. Good luck!
Hi Y.,
you should talk to your Dr. maybe you need iron, the Dr. can tell in just a few minutes from a simple poke on the finger blood test.
My step-daughter went to college in Spain last year. She loved it!!
Good luck, enjoy your boys they grow up way too fast.

Hello Y.. It sounds like you should go see your doctor as soon as possible. There is a never ending list of medical reasons for how you are feeling. Vitamins and supplements are great if the problem is only your diet, but considering your get exercise and have an appropriate diet, you should see your Doctor. Best of Luck, hope it isn't anything too serious.
Dear Y.,
You are in an interesting position. If you don't have anything easy to find and very specific, then you are not treated well by the medical system. You have another option.
Dr. Merkle has a good record of helping people who have diffuse problems - Chronic Fatigue Syndrom, Lupus, etc. He doesn't attempt to treat a "disease" but rather helps you get healthier. When you get healthier many time the "symptoms" go away. He does it by blood work (so it is very scientific) and he often finds problems that have been missed by others. First thing I suggest is go to his web site and listen to some of the old radio shows. That will give you a feel for what he does and how he does it. www.3000health.com
If you decide to try him there is no need to come to Dayton. He uses LabCorp.com and your blood can be drawn at any local office. Just look it up on the net and plug in your zip code. The office ###-###-####) doesn't know S. so just say you got the info from the net.
God Bless,
S.
Hi Y., I guess my first question is do you smoke? I know my mom had the same problem with her legs, the first thing she did was stop smoking then went to her doc a year later with still heavy almost pain in her legs and tired, they did a test a found she had some clogged arteries. She had surgery and now is fine and her legs never bothered her again, you really should talki with your doctor, keep us updated and god bless....S.
I'm having the exact same problem. Definitely see your doctor to have your iron, thyroid and glucose levels checked like the other ladies said.
Also, try taking a good multi-vitamin every day if you aren't already. It sounds like you have a good diet already, but try eating as much protien as you can for a few days and hopefully that will help. In between meals, snacking on a handful of nuts, a glass of milk, a hard boiled egg, etc seems to help me. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water too because if you don't get enough it can cause your blood pressure to drop and make you feel tired too.
Also it seems strange to even think of this when you are tired already, but exercise seems to help me - sometimes I'll just jog down the street and back - I guess it just gets my blood flowing and perks me up or something but it seems to work.
Stress could make you feel very tired too - if you are worried about something - maybe something at work or the kids, that can really drain your energy. I hope you get it figured out soon, its terrible to feel that way!
try exercising in the morning a little bit it will give you energy also take iron vitmains they say when you are low on early so is your iron level
hello Y.,
Your tiredness could be many different things such as, your diet, your bed, depression, or even sleep apnea. Try changing your diet first, its the cheapest way to start. After that you may need to go talk to your doctor. Good luck and I pray that you find a solution to your problem.
Hi Y., I had the same problem before and I found out it was because I was depressed, dehydrated and withdrawing from a medication that was prescribed to me, but I ran out of the medication on a weekend and couldn't get another prescription until Monday. I found out that heavy legs and feeling tired are signs for each of the problems that I had. I felt so bad that I ended up going to the emergency room and they gave me iv fluids. I felt so much better after that and didn't have any of those symptoms anymore. I don't know if that is what's wrong with you, but I just thought I would let you know what happened to me. Good Luck, I hope you find out why your feeling like this.
This is a major symptom of hypothyroidism - a doctor can do a basic blood test, and if your TSH level is above normal, than can lead to fatigue, and this can be brought back into balance with a simple pill once each day. A doctor can also check and see if this is caused by anything else - good luck!
have you seen your dr?this could be a case of anemia and some iron pills maybe all you need even a good one a day could help -i have had some of the same problems and found vitamins help with the way our food is processed these days we dont get the proper things we need from them but i would see the dr first and have a blood test chck things out
I understand how you feel. Whether I sleep for 6 hours a night or 10 hours I always feel tired too. The only time I feel refreshed is in the evening for some reason.
you should have bloodwork done if you have not already done so. Have them check your thyroid. It could take the doctors running the test a few times before they can tell if you are hypothyroid or not.
Check with your doctor and see if there are some vitamins that you may be lacking.
good luck
I would have your iron levels checked. Low iron can make you extremely tired. Or just have your Dr. do a complete blood work up on you to see if there is anything that stands out.
good luck
If you have a family doctor contact him or her about getting some blood work done. It may show that you feel this way because you may be anemic. Anemia can strike anyone at any age regardless of their diet and such. That is one thought that comes to mind. I have been through this and my doctor put me on iron supplements. Get in touch with your doctor.

I am 31 and have been married for almost 12 yrs. My husband and I have 3 boys ages 10,7, and 4.
Hello Y.,
I had the same problem a few years ago. (Actually, I still do.) I started with the tired, heavy legs, and then it escalated into achy, swollen legs. My fmr. Dr. chalked it up my third shift job. I was a baker who was on her feet 8 hours of the night.
However, the feeling in my legs soon escalated further into pain all over my body. I've bounced from Dr. to Dr. before getting a diagnosis of Fybromalygia & Lupus.
I am not telling you this is what you have, but I would urge you to go to your Dr. Your problem could be as simple as changing the type of shoe you wear daily. It might also be your bed. You could also have a sleep disorder such as sleep apnea. Hence the tired feeling all day.
Too often, our legs and feet are the first things to give off warning bells when something is wrong with our overall health. With your constant tiredness and lack of strength, I wouldn't hesitate to check with your Dr. Please don't brush this aside.
To alleviate the symptoms temporarily, I would sleep with a medium to firm pillow between your knees. (If you sleep on your sides. If you sleep on your back, place the pillow under your knees. ) Also, don't drink/Consume anything w/ caffeine four to five hours before bed. This includes chocolate. (Chocolate has higher amounts of caffeine and stimulants than most people realize. I couldn't believe it when I first checked, but it's true!) You may also want to consider taking a supplement. Something with potassium. (Upping your banana intake would help just as well, but the supplement has other goodies for your body.) A good, long soak in a bath with 1-2 cups of Epsom salts also helps. The Epsom salt soothes tired muscles and the warm water helps sooth you. You can pick up a big bag/box of Epsom salts for about a dollar at any store. It's a cheap and effective tool and it's handy to have around for other household uses.
If you have a sit down job, try getting up every hour and walking around or if that's not possible, jiggle and bounce your legs under your desk. (Be sure to flex your legs and ankles too) If you have a job where you are standing, be sure to move around a bit. This will help your muscles and also prevent blood clots.
Keep a log of how long the symptoms last into the day, when they start, and what you do during the day. Hopefully, you'll notice a pattern and you can effect changes. This is also handy to show to your Dr.
I hope this helps and I am sorry for the long winded reply. I have a tendency to ramble on a bit. I sympathize 100% with you. It's distracting to have this problem. I hope my advice helps. Take care of yourself! ~ E.

I appreciate that with two boys as young as yours your energy would be a little lacking. I wonder if you are on any supplements at all. I work with a nutrition company that guarentees a quality energy level with the supplements they have. I am a Shaklee distributor and am very available to talk to you about your energy and some possible solutions. Please let me know if I can help. It isn't always what we eat or don't eat that affect our energy level.
