I am looking for gift ideas for my bridesmaids. I know there are a lot of creative things that people are doing nowadays so I am curious...what gifts have you given to your bridesmaids or what have you received as a gift from a bride?

What can I do next?

I gave my bridesmaids $100 spa gift certificates so they could get massages. When I was a bridesmaid, I received:
1. cute robe to wear while getting ready
2. pretty carafe + $50 spa gift card
3. matching necklace + earrings to wear in the wedding

I gave my girls tote bags with their name monogramed on it - I bought them from The Knot when they had a big sale at $14.99. I also bought them earrings, a $15 gift certificate towards getting their hair done the day of the wedding, and I bought them a clutch purse for the day of the wedding. I'm a smart shopper, so I bought everything on really good sales.

It is stressful trying to think of the "perfect" things to get - and now looking back on it I spent WAY TOO MUCH TIME thinking it through and running around town finding the best things at the best price.

Good luck on coming up with an idea!

I gave my bridesmaid's jewelry to wear. I got it at JCPenney and didn't spend a fortune. The most recent wedding I was in, I got an insulated tote to take to the beach and a bottle of wine. She also gave us handmade beaded necklaces and earrings. What I loved most was that she took the time to have clip on earrings made for me since I don't have my ears pierced. The jewelry is awesome and I wear it all the time, and I know my bridesmaids still wear the jewelry I gave them. You can also go with some nice personalized stationary.

Bought their dresses, hair clip, jewlery and paid for their hair to get done.

DON'T be impressed, I got married in 1992 and the dresses were $14.99 each. GOTTA love JCP Outlets!

My friend gave us all little colored bracelets with our initials on them (not like those plastic Livestrong bracelet--it was like a heavy ribbon with faux rhinestones.

My sister gave us Puma tote bags, black & pink

I gave my maids jewelry for the wedding day

Another friend gave her maids the gift of not having a very bridesmaidsy-looking dress--they were little black dresses, and I have seen each one of her maids use the dress again since--so rare!

Maybe you can do a little photo album for each of your maids featuring you and that particular maid.

I got creative with my bridesmaids. I made a 8 x 10 collage of picture. Friend got one of all our good times together. Family were pictures from childhood into adulthood. I know some of them still keep them up in their homes. I thought it was more personal. On the back I wrote them a personal letter. Good luck.

A Tiffany's bracelet. I can not remember the price. I think the have less expensive silver bracelets. The little blue box was very well received. You did not mention how many bridesmaids you have though. I recall getting a bracelet from one a necklace from another and i can recall the 2 other ones.

I think your budget and age of the bridesmaids will make a difference in what you pick.

p.s i almost forgot, one got us stationary with our names. That was very thoughtful.
