Hi, all kids go through this. In my house, breakfast & lunch are the kid's choice. If you want spaghetti for breakfast, fine. Dinner is my choice. In your case, she would have to eat 2 bites of meat, 2 bites of potato, 2 bites of veg. to get dessert. How much you eat determines how much dessert is given. Sometimes they only get 1/2 tsp. of ice cream. If you want more dessert, you have to eat more food. If you eat no dinner, you get nothing else. On plus side, breakfast is easier in the morning because she is really hungry. It is a power issue. She wants to make some decisions on her own. My kids will eat anything with dip- raw veg. with ranch dressing, fruit with whipped cream, peanut butter on ritz crackers or apples. If she eats mac & cheese, mix carrot baby food in it.Rolled ham is good.Pork fried rice(meat & veg.).English muffin pizza. Sometimes if they help make it, they will eat it. It will pass.
