can anyone recommend a good and affordable alarm system company. Last year around this time our house got broken into and it just brought back bad memories and the fears of it happening again. We would have gotten one more sooner but as time went on we kind of forgotten about it.
My parents use Brinks and are very satisfied with it. It notified them at work the last time their house was broken into. Of course, things were still stolen, but not as much as would have been had they not had the alarm. They've never complained about the service or cost. Plus, I think their headquarters is in the DFW area.

I would try Bat Security. We have them at our house and I used them for two of my business locations. Super reliable and great people - a local company with monitoring call center in Houston.
