A chariot? Like in horses and Roman gladiators? Most airports don't allow horses.

Could you perhaps tell us what you mean by chariot?

If you mean a jogging stroller you check it at the gate. They will not let you carry it on the plane.

You mean a jogging stroller, right? You need to call the airline.

I have NEVER seen one on the plane nor past security. I will "assume" it must be checked and if it's over 35lbs - it might cost more.

Check with your destination if you can rent one. It might be cheaper and easier.

hi,
A chariot is one brand of bicycle trailer.:-) Does it fold flat and dimensions ? Is it a single one or double one? From my experience as long as it does fold flat like a double jogging stroller type instep does, you should have no problem.I didn't with my huge double jogging stroller but i was traveling internationally with two kids.If inside state you might want to call the conpagny for allowed dimensions. I was not allowed once to take a bigger infant seat inside the airplane as storage in the airplane was short. The stroller/trailer should be less of a problem as they go in the storage underneath the airplane .
hope this help.

You should check with the airline. However, most airlines will allow you to put it through baggage. Be sure to check on the fees.

The last time I flew with a stroller my daughter was one (5 yrs ago), but they let me take it all the way to the gate and took it from me to stow under the plane i assume. When we arrived they had it ready for me at the gate! I couldn't believe it! But it was a tad banged up, so thats the only downside, but it was a nice service. It was a regular graco travel system.

It depends on your airline. Back in May we flew on Southwest and brought a double jogging stroller with us. We were able to take it through the terminal. They hand screened it at the TSA checkpoint. When we got to the gate we got a gate check tag from the agent, and then right before boarding the plane we folded it up and put it at the end of the walkway. You'll see other strollers there too. Just call your airline and ask them what their policy is. With Southwest there were no additional fees to do this.
