P.B.
I get beer yeast pills every now and then, to help the intestinal bacteria fight back the "pollution" that causes pimples..I get a pill in the morning with lots of water in empty stomach. It helps a lot.
I keep getting these acne around my periods. Most of the time they leave a scar. It's like my lower cheeks is filled with big big zits for couple weeks and then those scars never go away :( I feel terrible. I cant use that medication for it as I have a baby.I wouldnt want him to touch it and put those hands in his mouth!
Anything natural I could try?? Anything other than medications that worked for you? Thanks!

Skin care around your cycle works for M.. I usualy break out, but dont pick or pop (that causes scarring) I use Mary Kay's 3 in 1 cleanser and their acne toner just for a few days, usually clears up in a day or 2
Hi, I asked this question a while back and got a ton of answers if you want to look at my profile and see them. I got a lot of helpful answers, but I ended up starting with the cheapest- Witch Hazel- to see if it worked before I spent a lot of money, and it does! I apply it with a cotton ball after I wash my face, twice a day. It took M. a few weeks to get used to the terrible smell, but now I don't even notice it :) I was so glad to find something so cheap and natural that works, good luck!
I've had acne since I was 13 and I'm 40! I've tried a whole lot of things! What's worked for M. is washing my face with a salycilic acid acne scrub. It get s all the dead skin cells off so they dont clog your pores and aggravate things. Then I use salylic acid pads to wipe the t-zone and problem areas. I follow up with a salicylic acid moisturizer. All generic fromwalmart, but I think the real brand is Nutrogena. I still get tiny little white heads right before my period, but not the big painful cysts. Don't worry about baby getting his hands on it. I had 3 babies and it wasn't a problem. You have to take care of you before you can take care of baby. If that means you redirect babies hand away from your face for an hour in the mroning, so be it. After an hour the moisturizer is all soaked in - just like any other would be and not going to come off on his hands. Just do your routine 1st thing in the morning and again at bedtime.
I don't know what you consider to be medication but I have used Proactive for years. Actually I don't even need to use the whole system because just the facial cleanser works to keep my acne in check. I asked my OB/GYN and he feels it's safe to use while pregnant and nursing so I'm assuming it's not a medication. After I give birth, i'm also going to try a skin lightener that I bought from Garniet Nutrisse (sp?) to try to get rid of the same dark scars on my lower face from acne. It's a lotion with SPF that I'll wear under my makeup.
I love the aveeno skin care line in general ... I would try thier line.
There's this company all natural out of Mukwonago WI called L'BRI really helped M.. The first 3 step process that actually worked. I LOVE IT!!!
What do you mean you can't use medication? Topical? Wouldn't you use it when you're not nursing or holding him? I think you should make an appointment with a dermatologist and go over your history so you can get the best advice and game plan for your situation.
