Hi all...I know I can count on some good resources from all of you.
My little sister just had a baby boy on Nov. 17th and would like to find a good pediatrician. She lives in Central Phx. (Northern & 12th St.,) but doesn't mind driving a reasonable distance for an excellent doc. The catch is that she is on AHCCCS, specifically APIPA. Any recommendations for her would be much appreciated!

I'm pretty sure my pediatrician accepts AHCCCS, and he is AMAZING! Dr. Jaime Balderrama on 51st Ave and Camelback. He is across the street from Maryvale Hospital. I live right by your sister (12th St and Hatcher, about a mile away) and am more than willing to drive over there. I'm not a big fan of the area the doctor's office is in, but it's worth it for the care. If you need any more information, feel free to send me a message.
DrGarrett @Scottsdale Children's Group is great-we love her and have APIPA for one of our kids. It's on Miller and Osborn.
There is a pediatric doctor that is on CaveCreek and 3rd Street. He is in the hospital complex. I cannot remember his name but he is a french doctor and he is very good. He accepts AHCCCS and APIPA as that is what I had then. His first name is Yves. If you want tell your sister to call APIPA and ask them for a referral to a pediatrician in her area and they will give her a list. She should see the name of the doctor that I am talking about. Hi, i have a AHCCCS book and it gives all the doctors that accept apipa, im on apipa so thats how i got the book theres over a hundred pediatricians in this book that accepts apipa...
