i have a 9 yeatr old boy and his chores are many.
He can
clean bathrooms, sinks, toilets, sweep and swiffer floors
change cat litter/ pick up dog doo in back yard
feed the animals, we have 3 cats and 3 dogs
Living rooms he dusts, vacuums, picks up, washes windows
Kitchen He can make his own eggs, soup, Ramens, Cut up vegetables, smoothies,
He rinses dishes and puts them correctly into the dishwasher, he unloads it and puts away, he dries dishes, I will have him wash them but then I have to rewash them usually. We are still working on the getting dishes really clean. He sweeps and mops the floor. Sets table correctly.
He cleans his own room but doesn't make his bed. It's a bunkie loft bed.
We are working on doing laundry and he just started ironing his shirt and pants for church.
Today he made dinner and cleaned up the kitchen.
If you make it fun for her then she will be more willing to help. THe rule in my house is if you make anything in the kitchen you have to clean it up.
I do not pay my children to do chores, it's part of being in a family.
