Look forward to hearing from you. Suffering with adult acne stinks!

I had the same problem when I had my daughter. After trying all sorts of different products, I went to the dermatoligist. Thank god for her! After some treatments on the acne(cortizone injections to clear them up and take out all the redness) I wash with Cetaphil, (my Dr. says it is by far the best facewash out there) and use two creams. 1 in the morning and 1 at night (Benzaclin/ Differen). In a couple of months my face was back to normal. I know how hard it can be especially if you managed to go your whole life acne free. I HIGHLY reccomend going to see a dermatologist- having clear skin again has made a huge difference in my self- confidence. I didn't want to visit girlfriends or be in photos because I was very uncomfotable with the acne. Hope this helps!
I have emailed you a listof Products that will leave your skin clear and gorgeous!
I also have an amazing Natural Hormone Balancing cream called PROLIEF which is excellent if your skin problem is hormone related.

Look into what you and the girls are eating , high processed foods, chocolates, very spicy foods or just something new being introduced to the family's diet. Also think allergies. Are you doing anything new that might cause this. Try drinking chamomile teas as well as using it mixed with lavender oil on your skin as an astringent/calming balm. If you need more info let me know
As you know, after having the kids, your hormones go haywire. So, as a result, your skin is reacting to all that is going on with your body. The first thing to know is that once your hormones settle down, your skin is likely to calm down as well. However, if you have not ever taken the time to really learn how to care for your skin, then now would be a great time. Make sure that you clean your phones with an antibacterial wipe at the end of the day. Try not to put your hands on your face as well. Consulting your doctor could be a great idea, but also deciding to take care of your skin and use some acne controlling products can help as well. I am in the Skin Care business and would love to help you if it's something you're interested in. Feel free to write me back or to contact me and I can give you more information.
After my second child I had to change everything I had used for years.....laundry detergent and all laundry products, soap for face and body, lotion, makeup, deodorant, etc. I too was having acne and dandruff if you can believe it....I had to use process of elimination but eventually I got "back to normal"...Try the Cetaphil line....all very good! Good luck
I know what you mean, I had the same problem. Take Cassy's advice : go & see a dermatologist. Whatever you try by yourself, it would be just an experiment on your skin.
Good luck!
I had the same problem. Acne on the chin is hormonal, cheeks is lungs and detoxing. I sell a line of pharmaceutical skincare and supplements that can definitely help. Often to much testosterone can trigger it. Hormone and nutritional imbalances will cause these problems. If you would like to come to and educational spa party please let me know and I will send you and invite. Acne comes from underneath your skin and if you don't get rid of the bacteria and sebum on your skin your pores will clog and create the red pimples. Be really careful with skincare ingredients because they can clog pores or irritate the skin and cause more oil production.
Email me and I can help.

Oh, I so feel your pain... When my son was about 6 months old I started getting bumps on my forehead and one side of my cheek (NEVER had a acne problem).. After going to 2 different dermatologists, she finally put me on a gel that you use at night after you wash your face (it's called Differin) She told me to use Cetaphl wash but I didn't like how my skin felt afterwards ( kind of slimy).. I was SO obsessed with getting my skin back to normal (vain if you want to call it) that I had her put me on a oral medicine as well... Solodyn... It's REALLY expensive if you don't have insurance (about 450 per month) but if you have insurance and you get a solodyn card (dermatologist will give you one with the prescription) you could pay close to nothing for it each month.... Also what REALLY helped me was getting peels at the spa.... GOOD LUCK and let us know what happens.. I TOTALLY understand how your feeling......The dermatologist told me it was my hormones all out of wack.. I still sometimes have problems, I don't think my hormones ever went back to the way they were :0(
Hey S.,
You may have a vitamin deficiecy. Are you still taking prenatals?

Hi S.,
I am not sure about the other suggestions but I can tell you that I went through the same thing. I kept waiting thinking it would get better, but it got increasingly worse. Not until I went to a dermatologist, did I learn that acne is very common after pregnancy. I am a first time mom. He prescribed an acne medication (Benzo something, can't remember the name) and it cleared up in 2 weeks. Good luck!!
