I had mine out April 11th. I still get little twangs here and there..more so around where they cut.
Yep, I had a little pain for awhile after..nothing major but sleeping on my side hurt for a good long while!
Yes, but if it persists for a long time get it checked out. I did wind up with adhesions.
I had pain for a few years, seriously. Hopefully you won't, but don't be surprised if you do, and don't worry : )
for me it wasn't just a little pain. It was terrible! I was in bed for a week and then my mom had to come over and help me with my daughter because I couldn't move, I was in so much pain, and my husband couldn't take off anymore work to take care of me. I had a horrible experience though with the meds and stuff. I am allergic to major pain killers and they didn't listen to me when I told them that. I ended up in the ER that same night because of it. I was throwing up about every 20 minutes for around 24 hours which I think made the pain worse, also because I couldn't even keep motrin down.
But, yeah, the pain from where they cut is pretty bad. I hope you can handle pain meds better than me! Good luck!
I was in and out in 6 hours. It was surgery, of course it's going to hurt or be sore for a while. I took about 2 whole pain pills after, but wasn't sure I needed them. I think (it was 2007) I was fine after three or four days. Remember, the pain was much, much worse before :)
I was fine after 1 or 2 days (and rock climbing within a week). We all heal differently. I don't remember, but I wouldn't be surprised if I had small twinges near the incisions. If it's major pain, though, you'll want to get it looked at.
With my 2 c-sections, I had very few issues with my first after a week. With my 2nd, I think there is more scar tissue, and I'll get occasional sharp pains. But, they don't last very long. The incision from a c-section is way worse than gall bladder surgery, though.
My husband had his removed and had 3 seperate infections after surgery. Please make sure you do not have an infection!
I had my surgery 15 mos. ago & still have some pain . It's not horrible but it's there, especially if I eat something I shouldn't. Some exercises will also hurt, probably due to some muscle weakness, I'm guessing.
