No............. baby is not afraid of the dark.First of all it sounds like she has began to teethe, however in the process you guys have condotioned her to respond when the light turns on. Let me tell you the routine your on. baby cry parents get out of bed turn light switch on get the baby. Babies can very easily become conditioned. So now she knows what to except, that how she gets what she wants. In order to break the cycle your have to do something a little different. Put her in the bed, this time when she crys, go to the room, pick her up , show her some love until she goes back to sleep. Put her back into her bed. Stay on that routine don't stop, when she notice that her little game is over and she can no longer manipulate the two of you, she'll just go back to sleep. and she'll continue to sleep in her own bed. BIG mistake, don't put babies in your bed. If you invite babies to ride before you know it they'll want to drive. LoL
