I am a stay home mom, I am sure many of you all can relate to me, and managing the house with just 1 income from the Hubby...

Sometimes it gets very very stressful to watch a toddler 24/7. I want to know if there are any affordable day care where I could send my child part time, so that it gives me a little bit of "ME TIME".

I live in Norcross and shortly moving to Snellville. I would really appretiate advice and suggestions...

Thanks

Hello. I am in Snellville and I have an in-home childcare, maybe I can help depending on what part of Snellville you are moving to. I have reasonable prices and I am willing to work with you. You can contact me @ ____@____.com if you are interested. We can exchange numbers. I look forward to hearing from you.

I would suggest trying the local churches that offer Mother's morning out. THis is usually from 9 or 9:30 to 12 or 1:30 ish a couple days a week. Good luck!!

We are also a one income family. I thought about a moms morning out program however, after looking at our finances we decided that we couldn't swing it. We are active in gymboree so I started taking him more frequently to get both of us out of the house. My husband works 12 to 14 hour days so sometimes it is a struggle running after my son at home all day. I have started choosing a night that I leave after my husband gets home and spend my two or three hours shopping or at the library. I have found that grocery shopping at Walmart is much more pleasant at 9:00 pm all by myself. I take my time and don't have to worry about anyone but myself. This also give my son and husband time to bond. Finding a playmate for your child also helps. I let them play in his room and I check on them frequently but while they are playing I can get on the computer or clean.

Hope this helps

Hi S.,
My children (son 3 next month and daughter 1) attend a moms morning out in lilburn and there are several in the area depending on which part of snellville you are moving to. They are pretty affordable also and will give you a few hours a day to go to gym, work, or whatever you need. they are usually associated with a church. At your son's age it is called preschool. Hope this helps

Check with the Snellville moms - there could be someone you get along with and you can set up a day where you trade off watching each other's kids so you can each have a morning off.
