One of my best friends had 6 miscarriages and a tubal pregnancy. She wanted another child and didn't give up. She finally conceived a healthy boy, who is now an RN and works to help those with cancer. Her daughter works for the Library of Congress. So, don't give up! I would go to a high risk specialist to see if there is anything you can do to reduce the chance of miscarriage! God bless!

If you are open to natural foods/ healing, may I suggest these sites:

http://infertilityworkshop.com/ & http://www.naturallyknockedup.com/

Many times miscarriage is the body's sign that it's out of balance in some way. Correct the imbalance, and the reproductive system works the way it should.

My condolences on your losses. I've had several myself.

I had 2 miscarriages after my DD was born. I also had trouble getting pregnant. I changed doctors and he prescribed a fertility drug. I was supposed to start it when I got my next period, but my next period didn't come because I was already pregnant. The doctor prescribed progesterone suppositories twice a day for 17 weeks, and that did the trick.

K.,
I had 4 miscarriages and had given up hope! I was told by my doctor that it was just something that happens, all test showed nothing wrong with me. I finally went to a high risk ob and discussed my situation. He did lots of test and found out by a blood test....after all the other ones showed nothing. That i didn't have enough progestrogen to carry a baby full term. This was such a shock, but after 9 months my beautiful baby girl was born and she was the easiest pregnancy i had. Good luck and God bless you.

I would go to www.Naprotechnology.com. They have dedicated themselves to find the source of the problem not just merely cure one symptom. I don't think conceiving is your problem just keeping the baby so you don't need IVF. I think IVF opens a moral can of worms anyway. They have patented a surgery that has helped people achieve pregnancy naturally.

I have a friend who suffered 3 miscarriages. After countless test the doctor could not find any real problems. She changed ob doctors and the new dr ended up finding out that she was allergic to gluten. This is a very common ingredient in many foods. After 2 months being on a gluten free diet she became pregnant delivered a healthy full term baby boy. Apparently one of the host of the TV show the View had the same problem and wrote a book about it. Hope this helps and good luck.

I can't give you any advice on the IVIG, but I wanted to let you know that a friend of mine had four or five miscarriages after her son was born, and she said if her next pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage, she would never try again. That pregnancy resulted in a beautiful, healthy little girl, so it does happen. Good luck to you!
