Hi ladies,
My husband goes through sneeze attacks every Sept (starting the year we got married go figure lol) and his sneezes are 20-30 in a row I am not even kidding. He can't even take a breather it is literally one after another. We initially thought it was dust, but it doesnt seem to be the problem. Well anywayz, didn't mean to ramble. I just wanted to know if any of you have this problem, or know of a good Allergy doctor in Garland/Mesquite area. If not I think I am willing to take him where ever it is. Cuz I hate being so helpless and stare at him while he's being attacked by the sneeze monsters.
Thanks!!

What can I do next?

Dr. Mark Olmstead is the best allergist! He is a Diplomate on the American Board of Allergy & Immunolgy. He is in the process of renewing his boards, so he is VERY current on treatment information, etc.
I go to his office in Heath. His Garland office is located at 7150 N. George Bush #204. Phone ###-###-####.

Hi J J,
I see Dr James Maddox over at Baylor Garland. He is a good ENT that I have been seeing for over 5 years. He has done my sinus surgery and tonsilectomy as well as diagnosing my allergy problems and giving me my allergy injections.
He is a quirky Dr but really good at what he does and his staff is great. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hope this helps!
M.

Hi,
Sounds like allergies, I do the same thing with the sneezing. I have been to an allergist in the Grapevine area. (I can look up the name if you want it)You can also go to your regular doctor and they can give him allergy medicine. Your doctor can even run a blood test to see what he is allergic to and then know what to give for the allergies. I usually take Zyrtec which is prescribed to me through my doctor, but I also have taken Clariton, which is over the counter and you can buy it at Walmart. He might try that first and see if it helps and if not go see a doctor. Hope that helps some.

Unfortunately, September is peak hay fever season here in N.TX (among other things) and my husband has the same problem with seasonal allergies. He takes Claritin daily (which is over-the-counter) and we usually buy the store-brand from Walgreens instead of the name brand. The medication itself is called Loratadine. It seems to help. He hasn't seen an allergist so I don't have any recommendations there.
