I did a lot of research on baby products and I feel that the "California Baby" line is really one of the best out there. Safe ingredients and they have a whole line of products. You can get it at Target & Whole Foods. Good luck! :)
My five year old son's face is extremely sensitive to sunscreen. His skin is very fair and perhaps may be reacting to the sun as well, I'm not sure. I've tried baby sunscreen, many types of kid's sunscreens and I've even tried my own Aveeno moisturizer with 30spf. He ends up with red, dry, somewhat itchy patches on his face every time. Then, any lotion I try to put on to soothe them, stings.
Any ideas?

Hi A.,
I highly recommend Arbonne's baby line - they have a sunscreen along w/ other essential products specially formulated for sensitive baby skin. You really should give it a try!

Hi A.,
I use Mustela products on my son and have since he could use sunscreen (about 6 months old). He is 3 and also has sensative skin. They make a stick product that I put on his face and a lotion for the rest of his body. When I ran out of the lotion I used the baby sunscreen spray from Banana Boat on his body and he did great with it.
Good luck!
I would avoid the sun whenever possible, but especially between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m when it is the hottest. I would consult your pediatrician or a dermatologist about the rash on his face. Make sure he wears a hat when in the sun and cover his arms and legs as much as possible.
