not sure how far you are from Hatfield, PA, but there is a women's indoor recreational soccer league on Tues nights at Bucksmont indoor sports center. All abilities, from total beginners to some that are really good. It's fun!

I did rec league softball for a number of years. I ended up putting my own team together, but it was a pain. If you look up your local parks/rec district they will list all the adult leagues available. If you don't have a team, you can put your name on the list of "singles" and when teams are short they can call in and get some names from that list.

I have always really liked playing in those leagues. Some teams are more serious than others but I would say skill and experience are not necessarily pre requisites. I played on some teams that it mattered more. When I started a team I obviously knew everyone but other times I did not. I got friendlier with some than others and that often opened other doors for M. to find different teams.

Go for it!

Oh, also for soccer you can also call local indoor soccer places and they will likely have team options too, but I'd start with parks and rec.

Yes! I play on a volleyball team at the YMCA. I've also played volleyball with parks and rec.

Check your local Y or parks and rec websites.

(It's not soccer season or football season anymore...but they might have indoor soccer, basketball, or volleyball (v-ball is year-round).
