I was wondering if anyone knows of a family who is struggling and needs help this Christmas. My kids and I would like to help a family with children.
Maybe you know of someone thru your church or even a personal friend or neighbor.

T., I have a rental house and a lady, her fiance, and her three teenage children live there. They have not been able to pay their rent this month and are getting help from a church. The mom lost her job in October and unemployment is not kicking in yet! Still! She is babysitting kids in her home, her kids are helping out, and her fiance is working at night, just to keep their home and bills from falling too far behind. She told me yesterday that she asked the kids if they could do Christmas in February when the tax return comes in. This family could use some help having a nice little Christmas! Not sure where you live, but check with Allen Community Outreach here in Allen. They assist families in Allen, Lucas, and Fairview. They might be able to give you some guidance.
My thoughts would be to go through a reputable source where the needs are truly verified.
Unfortunately, with today's economy, some people are using very kind people such as yourself to benefit when someone else who has been verified through an agency is truly in need.
Allen Community Outreach, Collin County Women's Shelter (many moms and children there with nothing), local church organizations.
Hi My name is M.. I do know of a young Christian Mother who has a 8 week old baby boy named Elijiah. She lives on the out skirts of Mckinney. The baby's father has not been much help and he lives in another city. I do know she needs a baby swing, baby carrier, baby bed and clothes etc. Her family is not around. I know of a single mom with 2 children, she has been evicted twice this year due to job losses. She now has a place to live and a part time job but it is not enough to keep her up with her bills. She is doing the best she can and has a great attitude. She is in need of major car repairs and it would be a huge blessing for her to be the recepient of such an amazing blessing!
