I am tired of feeling stupid. I have been on Mamasource for a few years. What is Wahm and Sahm? HOw about any of the other 4 letter discriptions people put on their postings? I am 35 and feel like my grandmother when she got her first cell phone!
Thanks, i learned a lot. I am now confused as to the difference between a work at home mom and a stay at home mom. All moms work and if you have another job that you do out of your home, doesn't that make you a stay at home mom? I think I will just stick with saying I am a mom... that owns two businesses, that has an office in their home... LOL!
Another one I've seen is DD, which I think is Dear Daughter. DH is Dear Husband. M-I-L is Mother In Law.

LOL = "laugh out loud", when something makes you giggle to yourself.

wahm= work at home mom, sahm= stay at home mom, those are the only ones I can think of seeing.I feel the same way sometimes, you aren't alone! :)
Hmmmmmmmm..... with your small business, do you Work At Home, Mom? If so, that makes you a WAHM as well as an RN.

They are both acronyms: SAHM is for Stay At Home Mom & WAHM is for Work At Home Mom. I'm new to the site so not sure what other ones are being used.
