I need to find a reputable AC/Heating company to provide annual maintenance on my AC/Heating units. I know there are so many companies in the area that are complete scam artists, so can you mama's recommend anyone you have had good luck with? Thank you in advance for your help:)

Ed Black with Environmental Air is a very nice guy. He's fixed the AC at my last home and my current home. I do not do annual tune-ups. Before the two recent AC problems I experienced (one in my old home right before I moved and one in my new home right after I moved) I had never had an AC problem before, so I don't know that it's necessary to have annual checkup.

I could be completely and utterly wrong on this, but here's what I've heard. What I've heard, repeatedly, is that the notion that your A/C unit needs an annual "tune-up" is the biggest scam of them all. Some of the companies that peddle these inspections are the worst offenders, convincing you there are problems that need attention and jacking up the bill. The A/C company that I used (an individual) has retired, so I can't help you. I know that Hendel is a good company, and very reputable. Good luck!
