Hello Mamas, I bought a wonderful, fitted and expensive (but half priced!) little black dress. I noticed right after I took it off that I left those annoying white marks here and there on the fabric. I checked the composition and it's made of 75% Acetate, 20% Polyamide and 5% elastane, the label says it can be hand washed but how do I get rid of the marks without rubbing? I don't want to ruin it! Thanks in advance. PB

What can I do next?

Panty hose...This is the only reason I own any...I never actually wear them...They are deodorant issues on my shirts :)

Water could actually make it harder to get off.....Most are water soluable so it just smears it around....

I always use the inside of the fabric to rub on the spot and it seems to work like a charm.

I know you said WITHOUT rubbing, but I don't think that is possible.

I just wipe them off with a wet rag and water.

You know the foam strip that comes on dry-cleaning hangers to keep the clothing from falling off the hanger? Take that off the hanger, and gently wipe the foam strip on the deodorant marks. 99% of the time, it will remove the marks! This works to take marks off of black wool pants, as well. :)

don't use water or anything, take the fabric fold it in so the marks are touching and rub together until they disappear... works every time guaranteed!

Take a dry washcloth and gently rub the marks; it's like a deodorant eraser ;)
