A Screen Door That My Kids and Dog Won't trash...and That Will Stay Closed?

We have sliding glass doors to the backyard. After two sliding screens from Home Depot bit the dust from kids pushing on them and just general wear, they stopped staying on the tracks and kept falling out, no matter what my very handy husband did. So I bought one of those curtain style ones, with magnet closures. It would be fine if the dog had fingers and would actually close the dang thing behind her as she's following my kids in and out of the house all day. Bugs are getting in. We are being bit by mosquitos. I'm at a loss as to how to screen this thing so that it works for kids, dogs, and our house. The curtain thing falls down periodically, blows in the wind, and is okay but not great. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

The only other thing I can thing of is a phantom screen. It can still get ruined but if the dog runs into it then it will just snap open. It's retractable.

What about not a sliding screen door, but a screen door that just opens and closes like a regular door?
On a hinge?

We have that.
No problem.
They sell it at Home Depot too.

I would look and see if they make screen doors that are hurricane/storm rated. These would be tougher. I don't remember if they make screen-type doors that are storm tough. I agree with looking into a hinged screen door or french doors (not sure how big your opening is)

Go to Babies r Us and get the screen door protector. It is about four feet
tall and will prevent the screen from being pushed out. I have kid/pet
screening that has been great. Also if you have to replace the sliding screen
door get one that locks. Mine does and it helped tremendously with the
grandbabies.

I replaced the screen with material that is indestructible. I got it at home depot but I can't remember the name.

I bought a hidden screen/storm door from home depot. All the air can circulate but because the screen is at the top or pulls up it is above kid height and doesn't suffer the wear and tear.
